In conjunction with the volunteer group Lovethypenistone, who are working with the Hoylandswaine Events Group and the Ingbirchworth Community Group, the Town Council Community Volunteer Hi-Vis vest scheme is going well so far. The attached photos shows volunteers in action wearing the distinctive vest.
74 vests have been issued by the Lovethypenistone group and 90 people are registered for assistance across our area.
Mayor Elect Steve Webber has seen volunteers in action collecting shopping in Penistone over the past few weeks and the whole Town Council is proud of, and thanks them for, their efforts.
