New email address
Please note that the main office email address is now email@example.com. The old address will be valid for some time and messages sent there will be received, however we would prefer you to use the new one.
We have heard that in some instances replies to emails sent to us are being treated as junk mail by some apps and servers. If you are expecting a reply from us please check your spam folder if you’ve not received anything.
PLEASE NOTE: before you get in touch with us please check the list below to see if we can actually help or if your query is better taken up directly Barnsley Council. As a small parish council, the Penistone Town Council (PTC) is very limited in its powers. Matters such as bin collections, car parking etc are handled by Barnsley not PTC.
To contact individual councillors please use the information on the main Councillors page – please do not use this form.
For general enquiries please complete the form below to send us an email at the main office.
If you’re sending photos please mail them directly to firstname.lastname@example.org – this form does not allow you to attach files to a message.
What we don’t provide…
Please note that the following services are NOT the responsibility of Penistone Town Council and therefore we can’t help. For more information please visit the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council website.
Car Parking | Housing Benefit | Council Tax | Deaths/Births | Penistone Library | Recycling Centres | Waste Collection | Fly Tipping | Street Lighting | Potholes | Gritting & Snow Clearing | Blue Badges | Dog Warden | Market Barn (hiring or stallholder info)
We have recently had an increased number of enquires relating to parking issues around the Penistone Town Council area. As a small authority we do not have the authority to deal with these matters and can only support the community in any issues they feel that have arisen.
