We have recently had an increased number of enquires relating to parking issues around the Penistone Town Council area.
As a small authority we do not have the authority to deal with these matters and can only support the community in any issues they feel that have arisen.
There are a number of parking/traffic related issues that may either be matter for the police where you would need to report this on 101 or a matter for your major local authority Barnsley Metropolitan Council.

We have recently set up a working group for parking and traffic issues around the area to support members of the public with their concerns. Your local Town Councillor who is the lead in this group Cllr Neville Shiggins, maybe contacted to raise any matters with B.M.B.C who will report this back to Penistone Full Council.
