Penistone Paramount Heritage Open Days

Join the Paramount team on Sat. 13 and Sun 14 SEP 2025, as they celebrate the magic of Penistone Paramount over their second Heritage Open Days.
It’ll be open for everyone to have a wander in and see the place as it looks in the daytime, have a chat to the fantastic staff, and learn more about the Paramount and its 110-year history.
There will be lots of great activities going on for kids and adults alike, as well as being open for refreshments throughout the day.
In addition to the Open Day, there will be hosting tours around the building to all the behind the scenes areas, where you can learn all about the history and how it became to be what it is. There may be a few ghost stories thrown in there too.
FREE entry but the backstage tours must be prebooked as spaces are limited. The tours are in forty minute slots — please be aware that due to area size, tours are only able to take eight people per group, so book now to avoid disappointment. (Please also note that there are tight spaces and around 45 steps involved in these tours.)
