(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
WHEREAS the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (“the Council”) being the Highway Authority for the area of the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough is satisfied that traffic on the road(s) stated herein should be restricted.
NOW therefore the Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers hereby makes the following Order:-
1. No person shall cause or permit any person to proceed in a section of Penistone footpath 57 adjacent to Four Falls between Folly Lane to Old Anna Lane
2. This Order shall come into operation on 27 August 2024 for a maximum duration of up to six months.
Electrical connection works are scheduled for approx. 2 weeks.
