What a wonderful day we had at the ‘Summer Event’ across three venues in the Town: The Market Barn, St Johns Community and Resource Centre and the Penistone Paramount.
A free summer fun day for all the family to attend. Free entry, free rides and games and an opportunity for some local organisations to showcase the work they are doing with their children. Kicking off at the Market barn was Angel Voices followed by Thurlstone Brass band then Branching out dancing and finally Quest Taekwondo.
Thank you to the Round table team for supporting us throughout the event with the Gazebos and chairs, we couldn’t have done it the same without you and a huge thank you to the PTC volunteer team and the volunteer councillors who gave up their time to plan organise and be there on the day to make this event happen.
We saw so many happy family faces enjoying the fresh air, soaking up the community atmosphere and enjoying the music and sounds of the free summer event provided by the Penistone Town Council.
It wouldn’t have been the same without you so thank you so much for coming and creating the wonderful atmosphere too and making the effort. We really appreciated this after all our efforts to pull this together, you made it worth it!
