TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
LANE HEAD ROAD, CAWTHORNE/CAWTHORNE ROAD, BARUGH GREEN/ BARNSLEY ROAD, HOYLANDSWAINE/ HUDDERSFIELD ROAD, PENISTONE/ BEN BANK ROAD, SILKSTONE COMMON
An order will be made to introduce a temporary 40mph speed limit on the below roads. The restrictions will be implemented on a phased basis as required from 28 June 2025 for approximately 3 months.
- Cawthorne Road, Barugh Green between no. 42 Cawthorne Road and Lane Head Road
- Lane Head Road, Cawthorne between Cawthorne Road and South Lane
- Manchester Road, Dodworth between Fall Bank Crescent and Barnsley Road
- Barnsley Road (A628), Silkstone between Manchester Road and Silkstone Bypass
- Silkstone Bypass, Silkstone between Barnsley Road and a point 90 metres north east of the junction with High Street
- Barnsley Road (A628), Hoylandswaine between Cooper Lane and Hoylandswaine Roundabout
- Huddersfield Road, Penistone between no. 120 Huddersfield Road and Wellhouse Lane
- Ben Bank Road, Silkstone Common between Dodworth Green Road and a point 280 metres east of Hall Royd Lane
