10:45am — Parade from Back Lane Tesco through the town—lead by Thurlstone Brass Band
10:55 — Official service begins outside St Johns church in the Market Square
10:58 — Parade to attention — “They shall not grow old”, “We shall remember”
11:00 — Last Post (Thurlstone Brass Band)
2 minutes silence
11:02 — Reveille (Thurlstone Brass Band)
Wreath laying roll of Honour – Band to play x 2 hymns Cwm Rhondda/Jereuselam Reading
God save the king — (Thurlstone Brass Band)
FINAL PARADE around the Penistone square about—Thurlstone Brass Band to lead

Remembrance Day Temporary Road Closures
The following roads in Penistone will be closed between 10.00am – 12.00 noon on Sunday 10th November.
- Back Lane
- Church Street
- High Street
- Market Place
- Market Street
- Park Avenue
- St Mary’s Street
- Schole Avenue
- Shrewsbury Road
Please note: the St John’s Community Centre Car Park on Church Street also needs to be free of all vehicles between the evening of Saturday 9th Nov and noon on Sunday 10th.
The space will be used for activities and preparation for Remembrance Sunday.
