As you may be aware we have been waiting for our contractors to supply a start date for the planned building work at St John’s Community Centre. The first phase of the work will start at the beginning of January.
The whole of the building will be inaccessible from the 1st to the 31st January.
Due to health and safety regulations no-one will be allowed on site other than the contractors.
Based on the information we have at the time of writing, part of the building may be available for use in February, but as the Centre is a very old building it is entirely possible that unforeseen complications will arise.
We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience and disruption caused to users of the building but please bear in mind that this is essential work which must be carried out in order for the Centre to remain open and available in future. Please contact the PTC office should you haver any queries.
