Phillip Beard – Honorary Freedom of the Town

For over 18 years Philip Beard has been tending to the garden and St Marys Well at the bottom of Bridge street without any support or even asking for help for help.

We wanted to recognise this work that he had done and at a recent PTC meeting we awarded him the Honorary Freedom of the Town. Here are some pictures from the evening with the certificate presented by Mayor Neville Shiggins.
