Penistone has a new Town Mayor!
Cllr Hannah Kitching was elected Mayor of Penistone for the municipal year 2025/2026 by Town Council colleagues at the Annual Meeting on 15th May 2025.
The role of the Mayor is to chair Town Council meetings and to represent Penistone at various civic events.
The outgoing Mayor, Cllr Mandy Lowe Flello, will now offer a supporting role as Deputy Mayor.
Huge thanks to Mandy for 2 wonderful Mayoral years and good luck to Madam Mayor, Hannah, for the year ahead!
