Whitley Road, from Hog Close Lane to Royd Moor Hill will be temporarily closed from 8 July 2024 for approximately five days.

D-Day 80th Anniversary Commemoration, 06-06-2024
A D-Day 80th Anniversary Commemoration will take place at the War Memorial outside St John’s Church on Thursday 6th June 2024 at 10.45am.
Temporary Speed Restriction, Halifax Rd, Penistone
A 40mph speed restriction will be in place on Halifax Road from Wellhouse Lane to Huddersfield Road, from 6th May 2024 for approximately five weeks.
MAYhem Street Theatre, 5th May, Penistone
MAYhem is a FREE street theatre and circus festival with a variety of exciting and fun acts coming to Penistone on Sunday 5th May 2024.
Road Closure: Huddersfield Rd, 11th—21st April (approx)
A section of Huddersfield Rd, Penistone will be closed from 11th April 2024 at least until 21st April 2024 for safety reasons following a collapsed wall. Alternative routes are available.
Road Closure: Green Rd, Penistone, 23/24 April 2024
An order will be made to close Green Road for approximately 30 metres either side of the railway bridge, from 10.00 pm 23 April 2024 to 6.00 am 24 April 2024
