Upcoming PACT Meetings 2025 (updated)
List of PACT meetings for 2025. These take place bimonthly, attended by a range of agencies that help to fix issues like anti-social behaviour and neighbourhood crime.
Please note that the August meeting is now on the 28th, not 20th.

Firs Lane from Cat Hill Livery to Cat Hill Mews will be closed on 10 September 2025 for approximately one day.

Penistone Library Closure: 03/09/25 — April 2026
Extensive work is to be carried on the library, bringing a range of services together under one roof. A temporary service will operate from Penistone Town Hall during this period.

One-way closure allowing traffic to travel from Haigh Lane towards Barnsley Road A628 only, from 11 August 2025 for approximately 5 days.
Additional Road Closure — Royd Moor Rd, Thurlstone, 12th August
Royd Moor Road in Thurlstone will be closed from 12th July 2025 for approximately 3 days.
Road Closure — Thurlstone, 21st July for 3 weeks
Royd Moor Road from High Bank Lane to Royd Moor Reservoir will be closed from 21 July 2025 for approximately two weeks.
Speed Restriction — Cubley, 29th July 2025
A temporary 40mph speed restriction will be in operation on Mortimer Road from Oxspring Road to Joan Royd Lane, from 29 July 2025 for approximately two days.

After extensive refurbishment, St John’s Community Centre reopened to the public on 14th July 2025.

A 40mph speed restriction will be in place on Hartcliffe Rd/Hartcliffe Hill from 7th July 2025 7 July 2025 for approximately two weeks.

A 40mph speed restriction will be place on some roads in Cawthorne, Hoylandswaine, Penistone, Silkstone and Silkstone Common from 28th June 2025 for approximately 3 months.
Road Closure — Hill Side & Hornthwaite Hill, Thurlstone, 10-07-2025
An order will be made to close Hill Side Lane & Hornthwaite Hill Road, from 10 July 2025 for approximately three days.

Mortimer Road will be closed from 30th June 2025 for approximately 3 days.
