In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic Penistone Town Council has reluctantly decided that the April 20th meeting of The Council and the Annual Town Meeting on April 15th will not take place as planned.
The Council is fully considering the implications of the recent YLCA (Yorkshire Local Council Association) guidance regarding remote meetings in order to determine an appropriate platform for future potential remote meetings. Going forward, it is also awaiting further Central Government advice on social gathering restrictions.
