We’ve all seen on social media that fly tipping, already a problem in our rural area, is on the increase as a result of cutbacks in council rubbish collections and the restrictions on recycling sites.
If you witness any such act, please report it immediately to Barnsley Council using the following link.

Please don’t call them to report this as the phone lines are affected by reduced staff levels, and please don’t call the Town Council as we have no responsibility nor resources to be able to deal with this.
However, please don’t walk on by and ignore the problem. It’s our area, let’s look after it together.
