Free help to make your home warmer and cheaper to run.
Community Warming is a local volunteer project which might be able to help you by installing some free energy saving measures in your home.
The project is run by local group Upper Don Community Energy and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, Northern Powergrid Foundation, The Bridge Shop and Sheffield City Council.
Your home will be assessed for draughts, cold spots and insulation so that we can recommend and fit materials to help. The following items may be fitted free by a qualified handy person:
- Door curtains for the back of external doors
- Draught excluders for doors
- Draught tape for windows and doors
- Pipe lagging
- Radiator reflectors
- Low energy bulbs (LED)
