We are pleased to announce the Penistone Town Council annual light switch on 2021.
The annual light switch on will take place at Market Place at the Lychgate at St John’s Church from 4 p.m.
Thurlstone Brass band will be performing Christmas Carols in the Market Barn at the Christmas Market prior to the event and will then be performing at the Christmas Light switch on.
After the light switch on there will be a surprise visit from Santa on his sleigh for families and children.
The event will be concluded with refreshments being on offer at St John’s Church.
PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE A TEMPORARY ROLLING ROAD CLOSURE AS BELOW -:
Location: Market Place/Church Street, Penistone
Extent of restriction: Full length of Market Place and access to Church Street
