From 13th April Barnsley Healthcare Federation and IMPaCT will trialling a weekly drop-in at Penistone Library on Thursdays from 12.00pm—1.30pm.
Social Prescribing Link Workers will be on hand to listen and connect people to services or support. They can give one-off support at the time or, for more complex issues, take a referral for longer support.
They people from 14+ for up to 12 weeks who are ready to make a change in their lives but aren’t quite sure where to start or what help is available.
Areas covered include physical and mental wellbeing, advice with financial support, social connectivity and more.
