There is to be an event held on Saturday 3rd July at 2pm which is the Thurlstone Chase fell race organised by the Penistone Footpath Runners.
Parking will be at the football field or on Leapings Lane and Plumpton Way off the A628 opposite
St. Saviour’s church in Thurlstone.
The event will last from approximately 1pm to 4pm and will be run alongside the Thurlstone Gala, should this take place which is yet to be confirmed.
There maybe an increase in parking around the area of St Saviour’s Church for this event
