The Millennium Patchwork

The idea for a large patchwork to celebrate the Millennium in Penistone appears to have been floated in June 1997 when discussions were underway with councillors and local groups as to how Penistone might celebrate the turn of the century. The final piece was presented to the Penistone Town Council at the beginning of 2000.
