The Community engagement Panel (CEP) is a committee of some 12 members – our 'partners' - comprising representatives from Penistone West Crime & Safety Sub-Group, Penistone Scouts, St Johns Church, local Schools, Barnsley Library, Millhouse Green Village Community Association, Thurlstone Community Group, Penistone Ward Alliance and Penistone Town Council.

The CEP exists as part of our commitment to the local community. The CEP will act as a forum where partners can share and cross-promote each other's events or campaigns.

Each partner has committed to using their premises, websites or social media accounts to promote the work of the other partners. The CEP recognises the strong sense of community that exists within Penistone and will try to focus & co-ordinate this effort with common, concentrated publicity.

We are all proud of our community and proud of the commitment shown by our partners towards making the CEP a success. Tune in to Penistone FM on 95.7FM and watch this space for more news in the future".
